Ask About Care was founded by Usha Tewari after experiencing firsthand how caregiving can quietly and significantly impact personal health. While caring for her mother, Usha found herself unable to prioritize her own well-being, even with access to the same physician and healthcare system. Like many caregivers, her needs went unrecognized, and her health began to decline in ways that often remain invisible.

This experience revealed a critical gap in how our healthcare system identifies and supports caregivers. It also became the foundation for her work.
